Privacy Policy
TrimDown runs entirely on your Mac. The app does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data, and it contains no analytics, tracking, or advertising components.
Your documents stay on your device. Files you open, edit, convert, import, or export are processed locally on your Mac. Document content is never uploaded to us or to any third party.
TrimDown connects to the internet only when you ask it to, for example when you import a document from a web address you enter, or when you install the optional conversion tools the app can use. Those connections go directly from your Mac to the address concerned, and we receive no data from them.
If you email support@trimdown.app, we receive your email address and the message you send, and we use them only to answer you. We do not add you to any mailing list and we do not share your message with anyone.
If you buy TrimDown through the Mac App Store, Apple processes the purchase under Apple's own privacy policy and we never receive your payment details. This website, trimdown.app, is hosted by Wix, which may set cookies that are necessary to serve the site.
This policy covers the TrimDown application for macOS and the trimdown.app website. If it changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date. Last updated 26 August 2026. Questions: support@trimdown.app
